Yes, 63-64 should interchange across the 88 line, except for the 1964 Jetstar 88. The J88 has different provisions for drivetrain mounting. Obviously body style needs to be the same.

Sorry Joe , but the Hollander says that ''63 and '64 frames are not the same .
Hollander # 1056 GM# 381760 fits '63 88 , S88 , Starfire , 4dr sedan , 2 and 4 dr hardtop .
Hollander # 1153 GM# 382622 fits '64 D88 , S88 , Jetstar I , Starfire , exc S/W and convertible .
Body style is irrelevant except for station wagons and convertibles .

Hollander also says that Monte Carlo disc brake spindles won't fit a Cutlass in 1970... yet I've personally done that swap.

This is why I said they will interchange. I didn't say they were identical. Given the likely difficulty finding a good one these days, it pays to have options, even if some work is required to make it fit exactly. The basic frames won't be very different.

Yes, Hollander (the old paper ones) had errors and omissions. Nobody is perfect. I have quoted them before, and yep their information can not always be verified as being Gospel.
This is a '63 four door H.T. It went to the Crusher last month. Believe at least one individual from here benefited

from the cars' parts. Would have been nice to see it go whole to someone, but the Executors of the Yard had other ideas.

I got several parts off that car during my 2017 visit to NM .
-I got an A/C condenser , a battery tray . the hood front trim , and a rear panel trim .
Unfortunately , the trim pieces were destroyed by UPS during the trip to my home in FL .
There were other parts missing , including an A/C center duct I badly wanted , so I guess others also had a share .

I heard that the owner of the yard in Dona Ana had passed away , I guess his heirs decided to do away with " memory lane " .

yes he (Tom Black Sr) passed away June 14th, 2020. Aged 74 years. Believe the remaining cars were liquidated to pay outstanding bills. - they crushed 90 percent of the passenger car lot including just about all of "memory lane" which was two rows of pre '85 cars of all types. Oddly enough, a '50 Buick Super and a '64 Studebaker Daytona survived. Have heard they wish to now sell parts "to body shops" but with everything gone, find that hard to believe.

If your able to do a little fabrication, (:·) I may have something you could use. 1975 88 convertible shell with a good boxed frame. I was considering putting a 1966 Dynamic on this frame. Wheel base is within an inch difference. Pluses, disc brakes, front steer, better rearend gearing available, better drivability. It has new brakes, gas tank, tilt steering column. The best part is N.E. Ohio. Read up on the dimensions and if your interested, pm me. I'll give you the "Buckeye" deal. Ha ha.
