Looking for a good used 67 C/S Side mirror (is there a pass mirror option ?)
and the trunk strip "CUTLASS"

 

Passenger side mirror was a dealer installed option only in '67. Pretty rare, actually. I've heard that a regular drivers side mirror can be used if you don't mind it not looking totally correct, but I've never checked that out to be sure.
Depending how nice you want, and how much to spend, there are repops now.
Fusicks has them and has a downloadable catalog.

 

I was hoping to find a driver quality one for $25-30.
After the car gets painted I may spend the $75
I will try the drivers side on pass side and see how it looks.

I think I have a few Cutlass trunk scripts stashed in a box somewhere. Maybe even a mirror base too. Hell, I got crap stashed everywhere!! My current project came with the passenger mirror, sorry you can't have that one.

Squirrel, I can't seem to find the mirror base I thought I had. However I did find this trunk script that is pitted. I even found some decent fender scripts that are now in a safer place.

Well, found the mirror a half hour ago I was thinking of but it's not for a 67 definitely. I don't even know what it goes to?!

I have several driver side mirrors available, I have one passenger side mirror, that I'm somewhat reluctant to sell, I would like to rechrome it and use, if I were to sell the passenger side mirror, I would want more than you indicated you would be willing to pay. I also have several trunk mouldings if that is what you were looking for.

 

What kind of shape are the D.S mirrors in ?
If not great I would just need the base.

What kind of shape is the trunk strip in ?
If it's not better then mine I'll just sand off the "pimples"
and paint it black like a 442

saw your ad about the right mirror, no one makes an after market right hand mirror, my 67 442 came with a right hand mirror from the factory its on the original window sticker..i am the second owner of my 442 and i needed to replace my mirror, i picked up an NOS right hand mirror from this guy in lansing so there are still a few out there, i still have the original right hand mirror that came with the 442 but it would have to be re-chromed...

i still have the right hand mirror, but its in my parts shed and ill need a few days to come up with it, the mirror is complete and the glass is fine, the mirror is pitted and has to be re-done...my 442 is a matching numbers car that i found wrapped up in a barn in long island for almost 30 years, i brought the car from i guy i met in queens...it took about 4 years to restore it back to mint condition....

Grew up in the Bronx, living in jersey now...my 442 was delivered new to Baurley Oldsmobile on Tremont Ave in the Bronx....i have pictures of my car but not sure how to put them on this site so if you let me know your email ill send you a few...ill get the mirror during the week
