1963 Oldsmobile Starfire Right Tail Lens

My son's dog ate his tail lens while he was restoring car!!! Really would love to get him another. 1963 Oldsmobile Starfire right tail lens. Any leads as to where I could get one would be appreciated.

Try this guy Dave in Starlight Pa. 570-798-0390
he has acres of vehicles of those years definitely some Oldsmobiles not sure which models.
he's got stuff from 30's -a few 80's.
Most of his stuff is early 60's, 50's.

All the more reason to keep pets and small children away from where you're working on or storing parts for your old car. They don't know the value of the stuff or that it could harm them.

I assume you know this lens is Starfire-only and hard to find one with good chrome trim if the pup's teeth damaged that.

Factory part #s to help your search:
lens grp 2.682, pn 5954123 LH, 5954124 RH.
Chrome trim (ornament) grp 2.680 pn 5954125 LH, 5954126 RH.

That's the truth! Thank you for the part number. The dog only got the lens not the chrome. Sure hope I can find one soon. Thanks again.

And here, all this time, I thought that they only ate homework.

There were a couple of 63 Starfire lenses on E-Bay recently . But they must have been sold .
They do turn up there from time to time .
Presuming you have an E-Bay account , set up a " saved search " for " 1963 Oldsmobile tail lamp " .
E-Bay will e-mail you when new items turn up in this search .
You will probably get lucky sooner or later .

Remember , left and right lenses are different , although they almost look the same .
An " 88 " lens can be used in a Starfire in an emergency ,
It won't look right , but it will function as a legal tail lamp .

I will try and get one tomorrow. I wanted to surprise my son for his birthday so I need to have his brother sneak into his shop and take the picture. Hopefully I'll have it tomorrow. Thanks.

I couldn't get a picture of my son's but here is what it would look like. It is just the lens I'm looking for not the chrome.
