I don't think anybody makes those reproduction. eBay is probably the best bet for NOS if there is one. Did yours break? You should be able to find a good used one. There are several people that have stockpiles of used parts and I see a fair number of these cars being parted out although not so many '61s. Mostly '62s and '63s. The '61 has it's own parking brake cables and is different than the '62 and '63. It's likely the same as the '61 Buick Special/Skylark though, so that's a place to look too. I'm sure some of the vintage auto wreckers could get you one too, like Desert Valley Auto Parts.

I have all four (4) Emergency Brake Cables for a 1961 Olds F85.
The forward, the intermediate, the left rear, and the right rear Emergency Brake Cables....
Absolutely NO Emergency Brake Hardware.

No one reproduces any of them --- they are all 1961 ONLY.......

Both his cars are '62s, so they don't have what the OP needs. Eric Jensen might have these cables, but he hasn't chimed in yet, so I'm not sure. Sounds like the OP is hooked up though.

And Eric Jensen has Jetfires -- which were NOT made in 1961 , so those are 100 % different.
Have you ever seen Eric's photo with Vice President Mike Pence scouting out one of Eric's
Jetfires ????? Cool shot....
Guillaume is figuring out his finances, now, I suppose... Because if he is intelligent, he gets all four brake cables BRAND NEW with one shipping..... France is NOT right down the block....
I gave him a magnificent deal for him for the purchase of all four brake cables.....
Yours, Craig......

I know Eric specializes in Jetfires, but he has bought a number of non Jetfire parts cars over the years and I think he may have had a '61 or two. I sort of remember him saying something about '61s, but I don't know for sure.

I assume your cables are NOS? What parts might you have for a '62 Cutlass?

well , in fact , i ahve already 3 NOS cables for my 61 F85 just the intermediate cable is missing . I found a guy who lives in Canada who makes cable reproduction about brake cable , and i don't know i must pay for NOS and without problem to install it or buy brand new reproduction about it and maybe have to adapt the cable or not .

Given the time and money involved with shipping, I would go NOS and be sure they fit and work.
