rear sway bar 72'

I am looking to buy a stock, or better anti-sway bar and bolts for my 72 Cutlass. I recently got the repoped boxed lower control arms. The car is still in the paint shop so I am in no hurry. I know I can get repoped S/B, but I thought I would check here first, if anyone wants to get one out of your way.

email: usmc2pvt@aol.com for faster response.

Thanks,

I have an oem rear sway bar, a chrome plated oem bar and an Addco heavy duty rear sway bar. Let me know if interested. Thanks, Bob.

I have an NOS rear bar that I bought for my 69 that may fit your car. Let me know if you want me to pull it out and check the part number for you.

Thanks,
Check Ebay or a web browser and use search Cutlass, 442, Chevelle, Lemans, GTO for rear swaybars. Maybe try Craigslist, or check with some of this sites members. 2Blu442 (John) up in Oregon might be able to help you out. Maybe send him a PM? Suggest you want the 1" bar that was heavy duty.

The rear swaybars from 1968-1972 are interchangeable on your car. Doesn't matter if it was on a Poncho, Chebby, Buick or Olds. There are lots of aftermarket repros that you can get easily for a reasonable price new in box.(Parts Place, Supercars Unlimited, Tamraz, Fusicks, Year One etc) I got mine new from a Chevy Supplier for 70 bucks + shipping. Take advantage of the prices at the competition. Only thing you need extra is the swaybar mounting kit and it's a direct bolt in.

Some swaybars you can get used for quite a bit less. Just stick to the 68-72 model years when searching.
