Rear bracket, 8 track player - 1970 Cutlass

***EDIT*** FOUND what I needed - thank you!!!

I'm looking for the rear bracket that goes from the rear of the 8 track player to the heater box on my 1970 Rallye. Can't seem to find mine anywhere...

I wouldn't doubt it lol.... I'm not doing a 100-point resto; is it an expensive NOS piece that should be saved for that, or is it ok for a regular old Rallye? It's part number 407199 if you want to check.

There's a member here that repro's those brackets and the ground straps. I think his ID is W70442...Randy from Louisville, KY. I've bought from him before.

Thanks, mrolds - Looks like Joe has me set up for this one!

Ok...glad you got one! I've never heard or seen an NOS one. Joe seems to always come up with that rare stuff. They are hard to find, I know because I looked for a long time many years ago. For future reference or others...Randy sells belts and repairs decks and cases, also. Hasn't been on here in a while, though.

Great info, thank you! I'm going to attempt to clean up my player, but if and when I mess it up, it's nice to know there are some out there who may be able to fix what I touched lol
