looking for speedometer cable for 1962 Olds dynamic 88 , speedometer stopped working , not sure why its not working but the cable has been patched and looks to be in bad shape , looked on internet and nothing shows up , trying to check junk yards now ,so far no luck , any help in finding one would be appreciated , thanks Dennis

 

I cannot recall how many decades ago it was that I replaced a speedo cable? What I do recall is that a "universal" size cable was purchased and trimmed to length. Do not know is doing such is possible today?
