Gerald, automatic floor shifters only used a neutral safety switch up to 1970. After that, the switch was moved to the top of the steering column and worked off of the backdrive linkage. The length of the pin that the shift cable attaches to on the shifter also changed, as did the cutout at the front of the shifter base where the cable housing is secured. I found one on E B thanks. Was just needing the shifter to fit in my 65 Cutlass console.
