I extremely sad to say that a recent drive didn't turn out to be a very pleasurable. An amazing cool drive interrupted by the (Blinking Amber Idiot indicator Hot Lamp on Dash) I instantly felt like Karen Silkwood when the Radiation Detection Siruns Sounded!!! (STUPID GM FOR GETTING CHEAP) I got her pulled over and opened the hood... She was hot, struggling to run, and dieseling... So I had good old AAA ambulance us both back to the house...

Well after battling a night of insomnia, and then putting in 8 hours... I got in, and she fired up and sounded like a dream... The the smell of Anti freeze coming out of my exhaust, just sowered my stomach

I ordered a complete gasket kit, and took her in to have a Class A rebuild...

Unfortunately, I got a call today saying she also suffered a cracked head...

So I am hoping that someone might have a set of 455 heads off a 1968, 1969, or 1970.... I also would be interested in a 1970 Toronado 455 W34 (GT) heads/cam/or full engine...

Be aware that 68-69 cars got "C" head castings, 1970 cars got "E" castings. Also, moving this to Parts Wanted.

 

As Joe has mentioned, there are two different heads, depending on the year. I have pretty much every big block head cores, except the exotics. I can also provide heads ready to bolt on, if you prefer. Email me to discuss: drolds1@bellsouth.net. Thanks, Bob.
