Olds 455 Distributor

Hey guys,

In midst of recurving the old HEI distributor on my 76 442, when one of the studs that the distributor cam sets over and the springs attach too broke off...

Considered buying a complete distributor assembly from the local parts store...

1st however, does anyone have a distributor they have parted out, but yet have that shaft? Appears that the shaft that the helical gear is pinned on is the shaft that has the top plate with the two base studs. Or a HEI distributor that came out of Olds 350, 403, 455 to sell?

May try the local old AC Delco store in the am to see if a complete distributor is still available and not a chinese repro...

Ebay

If you shop you will find one for around 60.00. They are rebuilt with points. As long as you don't care about number matching.
