Need '73 Cutlass parts, anyone in New London, MN?
While searching for parts for my '73, I happened upon a salvage yard parting out a 1973 Cutlass in New London, Minnesota.
I've already spoken with the yard operator and got an idea of what the parts will cost. Anyone in this area who could assist me with removing some parts from this car and shipping them to me?
Granted, I'd take care of the expenses and your time.

I'm about 2 hrs away, but know of this car. Can't they pull the parts and ship to you? Every time I went out there they had a yard mechanic for that very purpose.

Hey Crimsoncolby, thanks for responding. They would probably pull a "handful" of the parts I need and likely not bother with the other parts. Especially if I'm needing them to maintain the clips, fasteners, and other tidbits associated with the part(s). Do you know if they charge the part removal fee per part or one fee for everything removed?
As you know, the car just arrived a few days ago and it appears to have a good amount of original and undamaged parts on it. I'd like to get a few of the parts off the car in the same condition....figured I'd ask for assistance here, first, and see if anyone would be willing to help.

I have no idea what they would charge to pull parts for you. I've always pulled my own when I went out there. But, I certainly can understand your concerns.
Because the yard is out in the middle of nowhere, your chance of finding someone living nearby to help is pretty limited. As I mentioned, it would be an all-day affair for me to make the trip and pull the parts.

Man oh man, too bad you're not closer to that yard.
Okay, sounds good. Thanks, Steve.
I'm going to call them and see what I can and can't get. I'll let you know what I end up with or without.
On the other '73's, when you say rough, are you talking the exterior, interior, mechanical parts or the whole car in general?
I really appreciate you taking the time to assist me with this. The things we do to keep these Rockets lit!.
