1955 98 power antenna switch

Apparently, this is a hard part to find, but I am still going to start my search for a power antenna switch for a 1955 98. Supposedly, the same switch was used in the 1954-56 models. If anyone has one, or has any leads to find one, please advise.

I found one in Canada, nowhere near me, but the guy won't accept PayPal and only accepts interac or a money order, neither of which make me feel very confident. I don't like the idea of shelling out my $$ on such a risky proposition.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Can you get a part number? I have a 56 NOS convertible top switch and suspect it was used for either.

I don't know if I can get a part number and I doubt if that switch is the same, but if you share a photo of your switch, I will know if it is something I can use

It's packed away but I have its part number so that may help. If they are the same I will go looking.

I have no idea what the part number is and have no means to find out. I am 90% certain it is not the same part as the part I am looking for is specifically for the antenna and not for the convertible top. Thanks for your reply.

Well here is as good as it gets. My part number is 4634122. If you google it as Oldsmobile part then the number, Oldsobsolete has one and a photo. If that's it let me know. If not, good luck on the hunt.

Sadly, that is not it. I do, however, appreciate the effort.

My book shows group 9.647; part 1998046. Fits 1953-1956. No difference between series.

There's one in my '55, but unfortunately it's the only one and it's needed where it is. Before 2005 there were others in the salvage yards on the east side of New Orleans, but Katrina ruined all of that.

If I wanted to buy a complete set up, what should I expect to pay?
