1961 F85 rear brake shoes

Anybody have a set of rears or know if there is a current aftermarket that is correct? I have a wagon and thought it felt like it was dragging. Turns out someone jury rigged a crap set that is too wide. I need a shoe size of 1 3/4". Oreillys and autozone don't have a listing. Thanks

Likely someone used the readily available 2" wide shoes. No one sells the originals except Kanter, and those will be exchange. Alternately, you can take the 2" fronts and grind 1/8" off of each side. Just be sure they aren't original shoes with asbestos linings. New shoes will be fine.

I just got a set from this guy. You will have to call him but he has 3 sets left if I remember right.

Fusick sent me to northwest automotive and I found a set. Whoever worked last on these tried cutting groves in the metal of the shoes to try and make them fit the hardware so god knows how they even halfway functioned. I will try Craig if these end up being wrong but they seemed to be knowledgeable. Thanks for the tips.

Oh NO!!!!!!

Don't get any "New-fangled" relined with this new friction material that
absolutely STINKS!!!! It "rips up" your brake drum, something fierce!!!!

Eric (JensenRacing77) is getting my ONLY set of ++ N.O.S. Asbestos ++
RIVETED -- but I have 7 or 8 sets of BONDED.....they are sweet, too..

And -- NO CORES REQUIRED -- you don't lose money sending back your old ones -- and the best part -- N.O.S. ++ Asbestos ++
(Those brake drums are NOT cheap!!!!!!!!!)
