I hate to spend $500 on new tires for a car with holes big enough to throw a cat thru. But it runs so well.

I have 14" sport wheels I could use, or the gold/chrome 15's

It had 225? 65R15's but they were so old they cannot be used anymore. I had to put 14's on the back which are also decrepit.

Anyone got tires with a year left in 'em near 48911?

I have 4 Eagle GT 11's that I took off my 83 H/O. Very good tread but cracking between the tread. I think these were bought new in 2001 if I remember the seeing the bill that came with the car. These are 15's with the raised white letters. You're welcome to them but you'd have to come to central Indiana (Tipton) to get them.

 

I have a set of 215 65 R15s with no dry rot and plenty of tread, $100, Chicago

14 yr old tires I would not trust even if stored indoors all that time.
