WTB: Tilt-Column Shift Lever Spring (64-66 F85)

Hello Olds Comrades,

I've got a 1964 Buick Skylark Sport Wagon, and I'm hoping you can show some sympathy towards one of your fellow A-body fanatics and help me find a tilt-column shift lever spring that is shared across my car, 64-66 F85s, and 66 Chevelles. It's for the automatic transmission (in my case, the ST300).

The part number is 391537, and it looks like the spring depicted in the pictures.

Extra thanks to 66luvr (for the pics) and mrolds69 (from v8buick.com) help identifying the part.

Note that it is not the standard coil spring set up that is common to non-tilt column cars.

Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. My car lacks this important part, and it's easy to bump the transmission out of gear. I've got kids, and I don't want the car rolling where it doesn't need to go.

Thanks in advance,

Greg

Wow, Robert. I can't thank you enough. I'm PM you my address.

I will definitely pay it forward. And I have something coming down the line, too -- a rough but potentially rebuildable gas rank from a 64 Sport Wagon (of course, also compatible with the Vista Cruiser). I'll be posting it soon on this forum and v8buick for the wagonistas (it'll be free, but it will also be pickup only in SE Michigan) after I get my new tank installed. These are impossible to find and will be (I think) very desirable for someone doing a top-level restoration.

Thanks again!

Greg
