When you say 71 hood lock that means you are looking for the 71/72 T44 and not the 70 T44. There is a difference. The 70 T44 is a one-piece cable and is reproduced along with the latch which I believe is the same. The 71/72 T44 cable is a two-piece and is not reproduced and is harder to find for that reason. This is if your are trying to be correct even though they will both work on yrs 70-72. Technically speaking.
