WTB: Proportioning Valve

Hello all,

Looking for a clean proportioning valve from a 1971 Vista or Custom Cruiser. Would like as much of the wire going to it as well. LMK

I assume you are looking for the original cast iron style?

And there is still no such thing as a "proportioning valve" for four wheel drum brakes...

I guess the parts manual does call it a brake balancing & metering valve. Looking at the part numbers it's the same valve for drum and disc. Looks like the 71-72 and also 73 at the bottom of the picture, is what I'm looking for. p/n 5472140

Only on the Toronados with drum brakes, but good catch. I can only assume this had something to do with the heavy front weight bias on those cars. Of course, the OP is talking about an A-body.
From the 1969 CSM:

So it looks like any of the 71-73 VC will work.

I did more research and it's looking like the part number is superseded by 5472359, then by pn 18004050, then by pn 1257177. Looks like 71-72 Toro and 73-74 X body Olds will work as well. Doesn't look like any of the Chevy's are correct, although I'm not sure what vehicles came with the 1257177 pn. I was unable to locate the GM parts catalog page for that number. So just to be clear I don't need the balance valve in Joe's picture above. I'm looking for the distributor and switch in that same picture. The follow are the vehicles built with the valve I need:
71-73 Vista and Custom Cruisers
71-72 Toronado
73-74 Omega

Please let me know if anyone has an original cast iron valve from one of the vehicles in the list above.
