Question WTB Olds 455 Low Compression Std 4.125" bore Pistons

I know this may be an odd request these days, but I am looking for a set of stock Oldsmobile 455 two barrel spec low compression new pistons - 4.125" stock bore size. Anybody happen to have a set of eight in brand new condition they would be willing to part with? These are the deep dish 8:1 pistons. I would prefer cast pistons, but may consider a set of forged pistons if needed. The pistons in this super low mileage low compression 455 I am working on are nice enough to be cleaned up and re-used, but I would highly prefer to install a brand new set.

Let me know - thank you kindly!

Paul

Unhappy Never mind...

Upon further inspection, I have had the misfortune of finding that cylinder 3 on my block isn't "happy", so I am now unfortunately going to have to have this virgin 455 block bored. I found enough corrosion in the cylinder wall (from sitting static WAY too many years apparently with a valve open in this cylinder) now requiring an overbore. Man I wanted to keep this block at the stock bore, but it just wasn't in the cards for me after all...

So never mind on locating a set of stock bore low comp pistons, as now we have to see how much it will have to be bored to properly clean up.

Thanks much anyway!

Clark, I have a set of 0.030" low compression cast pistons, with low miles, if you get it to clean up at that size. Thanks, Bob.

Thank you Bob, I will keep you in mind. I have to see if it will cleanup at .030 - I believe it will, but remains to be seen.
