Looking for a set of A body Kooks headers for a big block oldsmobile.

 

I'm pretty sure that Kooks sold all of their Oldsmobile stuff to Dick Miller a number of years ago.

 

Kooks is still open. Talked a few weeks ago to them. You may find good used on Facebook Marketplace. Or even good ARH.

 

What year A body?

 

Yeah I knew they sold out. I'm looking for a nice used set for my 66 442 drag car.

It appears Kooks no longer are in the Olds business. I think when they sold the tooling to Miller they no longer make them. If I were buying it would be ARH.

 

Talked to someone there.a few weeks ago for Olds Batten headers in G Body. Told to bring car to them to fit headers.

 

When you look @ their site,there's no option for Olds. I doubt very seriously if anybody would take their car to them unless they were close by. I would try Nick @ ARH who was Kook's main guy until he left to start ARH. There's a possibility that he may have already made a set for a G-Body with Batten heads. It's worth a call.

 

Talked to Nick also. But was able to find a used set of 2'' Kooks. For Batten on a DX in a G body.. That needed a little work. Less than half the price of new. Facebook Marketplace is your friend.
