I need the 19" fan blade and clutch for my 70 442 W30. I've seen the W30 parts listed as 4949861 for the clutch and 403983 for the 70 455 engine. Can I just use the 455 engine clutch or does it have to be the hi perf w/O.A.I clutch as listed. I want to make sure car doesn't over heat. Anyone else have the w30 and used just a regular clutch in their car?

How much for the parts if you have them?

Chris I have an original 6 blade clutch style fan off a 70 but Im not sure the clutch is original? It may be aftermarket?

 

1979 Ford 351 TRUCK has as good a clutch as you can buy, bolts right on, Good luck. Johnny

 

If going aftermarket I suggest a Hayden thermal clutch. You can type in your year make and. Model and they will tell you what to get. Summit racing has them
