Looking for a pair of Delta 88 royale tails in very good condition (no cracks) only looking for the all red lights with the emblems not the amber/red set.

It has nothing to do with LEDs.

What J is talking about are fiber optic lamp monitors. Sounds like you need to read up...

It allowed you to see which bulbs were good and which need to be replaced by means of fiber optics. Some had them and some didn't. The monitors sit on top of your fenders and there are fiber optic leads that go to your lenses.

I'd strongly suggest you talk to J and take his words seriously. He is VERY knowledgeable on the later big cars, especially the 80-85 Delta 88s. He likely has a set because he has owned many of them and has lots of parts.

Great read I was totally clueless to this light monitoring system mentioned, this Delta 88 is brand new too me so still trying read and learn.

I will check tommorrow to see what I need, where exactly on the front fender would they be located?

Thank you sir for the assist but looks like my car doesn't have monitors so no need for them to be wired for it.

I just overall like the look alot better then the amber tails, just a nice little mod I could do for a small budget.

I checked one shed and they wern't there. Then I got distracted and forgot to go to the other storage shed. I DO have some just not sure if there 85 or 86. Is there a difference? I'll get some pics tonight.

 

Yes the 85's and 86's are different post the pic and well see

 

Sorry! I just found out they were sold, but they were 86. All we have left is for a 81.
