WTB: aluminum 455 intake
I just spent $200 to have the exhaust seats "hardened", and couldn't have been happier. Tom at NVR Racing in Butler, WI (burb of Milw) did a great job, including 3-angle valve job and cleaning everything to like-new. One of the exhaust seats was receding, so did them all.
I blew out my 350 Buick in my 68 Skylark convertible, and couldn't find any 455 Buicks, so next best was the Olds. Sold the car for parts last year, and kept the engine/trans.
If anyone has an aluminum intake you're no longer needing (maybe cracked, bolt busted in it), I'd be interested. Don't want to spend much, as I don't have a car for the rocket - just love having it still. Lemme know. Thanks, Eric.

I have an Edelbrock Performer for a big block that has a crack on the bottom of the heat riser passage and some pitting in the corners (water passages). If interested, e-mail me for pics and to discuss: drolds1@bellsouth.net. Thanks, Bob.
