WTB: 72 Cutlass passenger seat belt

I am looking for the retractable seat belt for the passenger side of my 72 Cutlass S. It is a bench seat with black belts and notch for shoulder harness. Looking for driver quality.

Here is a picture of the driver side I am trying to match up. I don't know if this is original or not. Feel free to offer suggestions.

I am still looking. I know it is not correct, but could a driver side retractor be used? They seem easier to find.

I can't answer your question as to whether a driver side retractor will work (not sure if the ratcheting mechanism would "catch" and "release" as intended since the belt would be pulled in a different direction than intended)..but, I would be glad to scour the cars at my local salvage yard if somebody here can't help. I'm pretty certain any of the other GM "A" body models would share the same style retractor end.

Colby, thank you for your post. I have seen this style seat belt used on other GM models 1967-72 or later. Unfortunately every time I find one, it is the driver side. If you happen to find one, let me know how much it costs and we can go from there. I appreciate it.

I'll probably be making a trip out there next week.

Meant to ask...are you missing the outer retractor cover for the driver side? Or, did you just remove it for the photo?

That notch for the shoulder harness may have been a 1972 only. I've got some of the shoulder straps with the button that clips in that extra slot. But I haven't been able to come up with the retractor. If you totally strike out you might swap out another year of belts, one that has the shoulder strap with a separate belt. I believe 1969-71 used the two belts and would be more common to find.
