Both the reproduction hoods (the good ones) and good originals are pricey. Be prepared to pay big money with me nards.

Do you have any experience with the aftermarket hoods? Which brands are best?

I'm a 67 guy, so not directly. However, I hear that Thornton's repros are on a steel frame and are the best, and you will pay. Glasstek and other pure fiberglass ones are cheaper, but you and your body guy and your painter will spend that savings on fitment.

For price and ease, you could just be the one guy in the United States that does NOT have an OAI (Outside Air Induction, Regular Production Option (RPO) W-25) hood on his 442. It's seriously bad, the amount of people strapping those things on. It's like truck nuts.

I’ve seen that one. Not too far from me but pricey. Hoping to find value. Thanks
