Going to be in the market for an OAI hood here pretty soon for a 1970. Was just wondering if anyone has one for sale. Must be an OEM OAI hood, already have a repop on my Rallye but want to go original on this one. I have a lead on one but in case that falls through would like a back up plan. Doesnt have to be mint but must be repairable, prefer easily repaired as well.

Tom, have you talked with Eric? (jensenracing77) He might have one or two since he bought out that Olds barn. I know that's cross country shipping, but just a thought.

@ Alan R.: I have ben talking to Eric for a couple months about that one. I am the reason he made the thread about shipping the hood . Guy that is lined up in Texas for is me lol. But thank you for the heads up, i appreciate it.

 

Or shall i ask is it for sale first lol. My buddy has one just chilling in his garage for his 70 that i will ALMOST guarantee he wont finish lol but wont sell it.

Tom, I was thinking....the best way to get that hood from Eric or Joe? ROAD TRIP!!! + take a big trailer you can fill with extra parts!! Take yer snake gun - they have some mean ones down in Indiana too!

 

LOL i will be driving to Ohio for school reunion this year but not taking the H/O or the rallye lol. Dont think it would fit on a focus very well either LMBO

 

And Joe is only about 4 hours east from me. We should be meeting up with him and AH64Pilot(Stephen) in Sealy in the near future. Talked with Joe tonight and it was a pleasure to talk to him needless to say.

 

Still on the hunt for one of these tharn hoods. Have solid leads but none purchased yet.

 

I have one that is mint.The screen was removed to clean & detail it,but I still have the screen to go with it.NO rust.NO cracks.NO damage.$2500.00 I have crated these before,to ship truck freight,but you might not be that far away in Ohio,depending on where you are going.
