I have a pair of "parchment" buckets for a 68 cutlass? not sure if they fit a 71 or not? i guess i thought 68-72 were alike? Anyway - I'm asking $300 plus UPS for them. LMK if youre interested. Im in Ohio zIp 44622 if you want to get a shipping quote. It cost $90 to FedEx the last set i sold to MO from here,

68 seats are not the same. You need 69-72 seats.

Ok -- Thanks for info ---
I guess these will be for sale to another person!!
Just for my curiosity? What would the difference be between 68 and 69. Is there a difference in the floor pan? Or height of the tracks? Or is it the style? the shell backs and release button position, etc. I know the release button is on side on the 68 and 69 is in center of back. 68's could be with or without headrest. All 69 and up are headrest.

68 seats are a direct bolt-in functional exchange but not the exact style due to lack of headrest and seat release lever.
They do well as a replacement seat for 67 cars, only difference is 67 has metal back cover and side skirts while 68 has plastic panels'

The only difference otherwise is the side seatbacklock release (which many folks actually prefer)
All that said... I wouldn't pay extra for 68 seats if they were "incorrect" for your 69-72 car-however if you found some for a good price- they would still work fine if you weren't concerned about the side release button being "incorrect".
