How'd ya buy a 'northern' car in Texas?

Tell me about it. Got under the car last night and saw a bunch more issues. I am on hold for parts at the moment. Going to see if I can find a cleaner car or at least a cleaner tub to start with. This thing would cost a fortune otherwise.

I got a lead on a clean convertible tub in north texas. I am going to head up there next weekend to check it out. If all is good then I will be back on for parts if not; I am going to abandon this project while I am ahead of the game.

 

Henry (66400) probably has most of what you need. I have some stuff, in Albuquerque.

 

Was going to share some of my parts with him until he looked under the car, funny thing a few years ago I sold a lot of parts that already went on this car including a frame!

I'll sell you a 66 442 less motor and trans----needs NOTHING----Then you won't have to worry about parts. Put a motor and trans in it and ride.
