WTB: 455 Valve covers

My 455 came with chrome Edelbrock valve covers and I don't like them much. Stock valve covers would be great it in decent condition as I plan on painting them 455 blue.

Thanks!
Jeff

Jeff, I have some blue ones, not notched, $25 + the ride?
I'll get some pics for you if interested.

Hi Jeff
There's lots of members here who have extra valve covers. But let me ask you what year/model car these are going in. I'm asking because the 1967
Cutlass/442 used one notched cover and the 1968-72 had both valve covers notched. This was done to make room next to the power brake booster (67-72) and the AC box (68-72).

Then one more, in 1973 the valve covers had OLDSMOBILE stamped into the valve covers. If you have a 1973 and want it to look factory you'll want these.

John

Great question! It will actually be going in my '64 C10, so I'll have a lot of room.

The engine is a 455, so having Oldsmobile stamped would be neat but not necessary.

Well, I found 2 sets, your choice. The one blue one is missing a grommet
and they need a good cleaning. Here's some pics.
