So my dad is restoring his 1970 for the third time in his life, and the guy at the chrome shop trashed his hood spear that dad had been using for 50 years with some pitting on it. It was good daily driver and the guy, just being a *****, ruined it trying to fix it and never called him and told him about it. He's painting now and is not very good on the internet (in fact I'm not so great myself.) So I am searching for another for him. He is looking for something nicer than he had. But probably can't afford a mint condition restored one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. He is local to western Pennsylvania but if he can get a decent look he would pay shipping if need be.

 

Have some fair to marginal pieces from a '71 Supreme. Car was not from here, it wound up here, before being scrapped out.


Not sure if they would be the EXACT same, or correct for a '70. You can have some of them for shipping only, if they happened to be correct. Am sure an expert here would know.

I could use one of these center trunk trim pieces if you have one that is straight with no dents or dings. My car is a convertible, not sure if that matters for this piece.
