WTB 1100879 37A alternator.

1970 needed. Will consider any but prefer early April or late March. Will also consider Jan date because I can trade it to a friend.

I have one with February date code(0B5). I know it's not what you are looking for, but...

Well aware if every 879 currently available as well as some that are not but thank you
would you need an item to such an extent that you would pay 2x FMV for it
have you ever seen a dual pull on an 879 ?
those who intend to rip people off tend to ask about 33% of FMV

Those indifferent of sale tend to be high & their asking price will reflect quality of what they been smokin..

Those prices are discounted from consideration as neither is viable to real people in day to day life

Implied answer if not direct

If you have a high end restoration, I'd want one of his on my car for sure.

In lew of direct answer I have determined that YES ,INDEED 2x market value is not out of your realm of posabilities

Seeing as how we may have stumbled upon process by which information I ask about can be painstakingly extracted from repkly, allow me to ask of you if not too much trouble,
what would your opinion be of value of a core 69-70 '879 in fair / average condition in your hand ?
certainly you must value your opinion & you appear to have some experience in this field & no need to be modest
Demonstration of one's intelligence while helping others is not showing off, it's allowing it to be beneficial achieving its greatest potential
I am confident your opinion will be satisfactory & interested in your response
thanks

Does this Story Oldsmobile guy remind anybody of a former member here? I have my suspicions.
