Im looking for a working Compressor for a 71' Cutlass.

To get a working one is rather a crapshoot.
Even if pulled when working, if they had sat a while, they might have contaminants inside and the shaft seal dried and leaky. You would need to know what oil was used in it, too, to avoid contaminating the rest of the system.
Difficult and costly to try out used ones, with the high cost of refrigerant.
I am in the same delimmia. Mine worked, but not sure how well. Have not yet decided what to do with it.

 

I thought I read here there was a compresor replacement availible ? maybe thru one of the aftermarket suppliers like classic air
