Have you tried your local Safelite or other auto glass dealer? It's nice to have a brand-new piece of glass instead of one 45 years old with scratches.

[QUOTE=Convertcrazed;853280]......I'm planning a trip to possibly Fla over the Holidays......

IF you have to have oem and IF you are coming down to our wonderful state, let me know and I'll check on the ones that I have. Personally, I'd go with new aftermarket . Thanks, Bob.

Windshield

I'm doing a '67 442 convertible right now, and my local glass guy said that he can have a new windshield for me in two days, no problem.

Well...cked with local Safelite in Annapolis and they want $368 no mobile service on classic cars.....I'm not paying to ship car over Bay Bridge????? Called ThePartsPlace and they said $180 to ship freight .....so same $$$ I guess I might have to buy on epay for $199 free shipping and hope it's in one pc when arrives?????
I'd rather drive 200 miles to P/U.........there used to be a epay listing for $168 where you p/u from nationwide warehouses and I think there was one in PA????
I guess I'll ck with my local KI glass shop and see if they can order and I install?
Any thoughts?????
Thanks
Eric M
