Water Pump 400269

Looking for water pump casting number 400269 in very good condition (casting may look like 4002890). Date ideally 60 to 100 or so.
Thanks.

Red face 400269 water pump

thank you 442crzy for the response. As everybody knows if you are trying to make everything absolutely correct the Date code is a really big deal. If you or anybody else runs into one of these keep either one of us in mind. Guy

400269 water pump

Hey Briane I PMed Doc66 about the water pump and said I was interested in it I horned in on your thread so I think you should have first chance at it if you want it. I had talked to kurt Karch about it and he said it would work with my car. ( my car was built in third week of May) He said they veried widely on when they used them as long as its not date coded after the car was built. What are you putting it on? Mine is a 69 H/O Guy

Thanks Guy. I'm waiting to hear from Doc66 as I think this will work for me. AI'm also working on a '69 H/O that I'm getting from a local friend. He's had it 25 years. He told me he had changed the water pump. Unfortunately he showed me the one he removed but it wasn't the original.
Hopefully we both get something that works out for us.
Brian
