Looking for a nice pair of 65 442 exhaust pipes in rear of car. Just the pipes no more. The crimped set. Will need pics and I know what they look like so just wanting 65 442 pipes.


For some reason they are left and right.

 

There's a guy here in Michigan that makes them, Walt Vallencia. Just found a good used set for '66-'67, '65 are 2", 66 and 7 are 2 1/4. Sure someone on here has contact info for Walt.

 

65 pipes are 2" and the chambered section is 2 1/2. 66/67 pipes are 2 1/4 all the way.

It's Walt Vallelunga who makes the 65.66/67 chambered pipes.

 

Is there any contact info on him I don't do Face Book. I wonder if he can do 2" 1/2". I thought the 65 were the same as 66-67 maybe not.

Walt emailed me saying he no longer makes the 2 1/2" BUT I did ask him for the smaller ones no answer yet.

 

I just talked to Walt,he most certainly makes the correct 65 chambered pipes that are 2" to the chamber then are 2 1/2. He use to make the 2 1/2 pipes for the 66/67 cars but no longer,only the correct 2 1/4 pipes.

 

Its the weekend so maybe later i'll get a email later. The 2 1/2" to 2" is good enough for me. I'm not racing anymore just street driving.

Thanks but looking for the left and right chamber ones. They have part numbers on them. They do look the same not sure why the different numbers.

 

I talked to Walt today, he is bringing some new tail pipes to sell for the '65, '66-'67 442 to the OCA show in Albuquerque, July 18th - 21st.
