Arrow Wanted-Set of Buckets '68-72 A-Body

Looking for a set of buckets from any '68-'72 GM A-Body....covers don't need to be good as they will be replaced! Looking locally only as I'm sure shipping would be expensive! I would listen to reasonable combined price + shipping if you can give my that info! I'm located in Long Island, NY....thanks!

Hi Erik,
Just wanted you to know that the 68 seats are different than the 69-72's. The button that allows the seat to tilt up is in a different place. Hope that helps.

Thanks, these are going in a '70 Vista, so it won't be "correct" anyhow.

Not staying original and correct?
If you wanted a 2 door interior why didn't you buy one?
Now you're going to have to buy and weld in seat mounts, buy a console and floor shifter, replace the steering column or shift bowl. You will also have people wondering why the buckets tilt forward for no reason. I would get rid of the buttons and bolt a bracket in so they can't tilt before they're upholstered my own self.
The bucket seats and covers will probably be cheaper than having your seat done at a trim shop, I know.

Good for getting in the back at the drive-in movies without leaping over the front seat?

Another original one bites the dust.

We will be keeping the original taxicab seat. He would rather put a split bench w/arm rest from a vert or supreme, but those are hard to find. I hear you w/all those points, but at least we are keeping the woodgrain! Allan, wait 'till you see what color he wants to paint it.....also will have drop spindles and probably 18" rims......

I was going to joke about big wheels and lowering it.
What color??
Is this a contest?
Better not be code 24 Nordic Blue.

Show your bro' this flattop for ideas.
I see bags in your future Erik.

Actually, put woodgrain on that and you pretty much get the drift"wood"...
It's going to be your favorite color! GREEN! Actually it is called "rescue green". On the new Cheap Wranglers....it's what he wants! I wanted to keep the original gold and juice it up a bit!

It ain't easy being green.
Cheap Wrangler?
Like the Cheap in the Popeye cartoons?
That thing could crawl right up brick walls.

I looked it up and I was afraid it was going to be that color.
It does have a lot of gold in it, almost looks like Poncho Tiger Gold but the opposite, it has a lot of green in it.

How about a flip-flop?
It's expensive but I know you can get a deal on the paint.
My bro' is talking to the vinyl guru about the woodgrain.
I just saw another one with pattern repeats all down the side, sticks out like a sore thumb.
If I weren't a carpenter I may be able to live with it but I know better and it would drive me nuts. What would be even worse is that my fellow woodpeckers would shun and alienate me for eternity for such a blatant mistake.

You make a good point about the repeating pattern! Never thought of that! It would drive me crazy, and I'm not a carpenter... We need to get this problem solved already! I'm putting you in charge to do all the legwork and anything else need be! It can repeat, as long as it is on the other side, or somebody else's car!
As far as the color, I'm only 40, and I do remember the old Popeye 'toons you refer to! If you look up matchbox vista cruiser, you'll see approx what it will look like!

The guy I bought my Cutlass from originally said that these seats were out of a 67 GTO I believe, so I really don't know if they will fit, BUT none the less I thought I would post them on here to see if you are interested.

I'm located out of Chicago.
