Wanted running BBolds 400 425 455 or shortblock

I need a cheap running bb oldsmobile engine 400 425 or 455. Or good shortblock for a project im working on. Something within 200 miles of the chicagoland area.

I have a 455 out of a 72 Olds 98. It was running when I pulled it. Didn't smoke. Been sitting for 6 years. I do turn it over once in awhile to make sure it's free. $475. By Eau Claire Wis.

Ill keep it in mind. I looked it up and your 300 miles away, thats far for just a motor. I would like to try and find one closer. If i strike out local ill get back to you on yours. Thanks

i have a 455 block out of a 72 cutlass, dont know if it runs, no intake but has good compression when turned over by hand, in chicago chris

Sounds good. I knew it was a little out of your mileage range, but thought I would throw it out there. I also have a couple other 455s tore down if you or anyone else are interested.
