I bought this set of 4 Used 15x7 Olds wheels yesterday for $75.00. I'm going to have them sandblasted and then paint, not sure if same color as car, Black or Argent Gray (Thoughts?). Now I need Trim Rings and Center Caps. Where can I find the best deal on some? I've looked locally for used, but they're all beat up so I'm going to buy new. Fusick has them but not sure which ones to buy. In Post #29 I guess Fusick has the caps listed wrong. Can someone clarify please? Thank you

The circled center cap on the Fusick page is the cap that fits the wheels you bought. They are referred to as “snap on” center caps.

Correct for your car is argent gray in color. As you are using 15x7 snap on cap wheels, they won't look 100% correct, but the right color would help in that direction.

In 71, I believe, the SSIII, which just means "body color Super Stock" came out. Your car, then, with those, would have them be blue like your paint. No car got black rims unless it was a black car with SSIIIs.

However, it doesn't really matter, so I would figure out whether you like gray, black, or body color the best and do that. I'd jack it up, put one gray rim on it, one of those blue rims, and find a black rim, get back 50 feet, and circle the car and look at it to decide.

So I found the wheels, Thank you for everyone's help. Now what tire size will fit and look good? Not looking for RWL unless I mount them letters in. BF Goodrich always bleed through. 60's preferred. Suggestions?

NOTE: The current 215/65/15's rub in the front. The rear are 275/60/15's

If you actually prefer the RWL look, Cooper Cobras don't bleed. Do you want them the same all around or do you want "big 'n' littles"?

Unless you have insane offset on those wheels or have dramatically lowered the car, there is no way that 215s will rub in the front on an A-body car. My 69 Cutlass wagon has 245/60-15s on OEM 15x7 wheels with zero offset. They don't rub at all. I've driven the car 5000 miles since I put those wheels and tires on in May with zero issues.

The optional OEM G78x14 tires were 27.06" outside diameter with an 8.70" section width.
215/65-15 tires have a 26.00" outside diameter with an 8.46" section width. Note that this is smaller in both diameter and width than the factory tires that didn't rub.
245/60-15 tires have a 26.57" outside diameter with a 9.65" section width.
