I have a NOS Fender for my 71 Cutlass Supreme which has been hanging on my garage wall for at least 10 yrs."Artwork" I paid too much for it when I bought it. I am presently having my car redone, repainted. Mine is very nice but a daily diver not a show car. Both of theses fenders need alittle rust repair and the shop (yesterday) has recommended 2 aftermarket fenders.
Ah finally to my question, is there really that much of a differance between NOS and repro or is it just for "show cars"?

I have had no experience with repro fenders but I have heard they aren’t that bad. My only experience with a repro body replacement piece was on a rad support on a restored 1969 Chevelle. It was an absolute piece of junk. When we hung the fenders, hood and nose piece there was a gap at the front of the hood that you could put your hand between. Took everything off and realized the rad support had a curve in it. Absolute crap. I found a used one and and everything fit perfectly. Al
