Wanted - Horn contact assy for 70-77 sport steering wheel
Recently bought a used original sport wheel that did not come with the horn contact (I knew before I bought it).
It is circled in red in the picture.
I saw that Fusicks has a repro for 25, but looking to see if I can get a good used one for less.
If you have one, please let me know how much and get a picture, as I will need to verify it will be what I need.
Thanks!

Repops are fairly inexpensive. All of the resto vendors have them.
$20. http://www.thepartsplaceinc.com/ocat...&YearList=1972

Rob,
FWIW, the sport steering wheel is a nice option, but really needs tilt so you can get a better view of the gages. Install is a 10 minute job including taking your old wheel off. If you're missing the horn contact ring, are you also missing the center cap and contact ring? They come up quite regularly on ebay for little cost. Also, I'm sure you know this, but there are 2 different kinds of sport wheel. One is the black 15 inch and the other is the 14 inch 'starfire' wheel. The part number for the proper one is 9751871

I just reinstalled mine today, the shop didn't and of course I found the horn assembly broken, the wire and plunger that attaches to the assembly and goes into the hole in the column to contact the electrical was broken off. You may need that as well parts place # ST3734Z

Rob---Did it come with the spring and spring insert??..this is what that horn contact ring depresses when you honk the horn. This spring and insert slip down into a hole in the hub where they ride on the horn contact ring. Same parts that Steven mentions above I believe.

I do have the horn cap with the rocket in the center. It also has some tabs under it that would grip the horn contact.
Therefore I need only the part assy circled in the picture.
I am also missing the spring and insert, but I have a local member who is willing to trade me that for an original cigar lighter.
I have not used ebay since they changed their payment policies and I almost fear the Parts place as I do not want to have to mod anymore of their stuff to get them to work.
I am not in a hurry, so I will see if any pop up around here first.
Sorry Allan, no tilt. I think i have the 15" wheel but I will have to measure to be sure.
Thanks for the part #!
