Hi, Im looking to see if anyone has this bracket that the vent hose goes through. The picture is taken from the 70 Assembly Manual.

I had no idea those existed. My Dad bought a 1970 Cutlass back in 1977 and it didn't have that bracket on it. If it had one from the factory, it didn't last long before the original owner (or the dealership mechanic) ditched it.

Me either! Mine is just routed through the intake engine lift ring.

EDIT: I was curious about this so I looked it up in my 72 AM. It shows the same part BUT says "exc AC cars"

I took another look and did not see any reference about "exc AC cars" in the 70 manual, I only noticed this bracket when I was reviewing the cruise control section and thought I'd add it if there was one available.

Think its a big Olds car. Not seen on a 442 or Cutlass.

I ran across this curiousity one time while just browsing through the PIM. My suspicion is that part is used only in cars that were equipped with cruise control, otherwise the bracket for the PCV hose would have been listed somewhere else in engine dress, etc...

Makes sense since it is mentioned in the cruise control section of the manual.

And yet the picture for the cruise servo and linkage shows no sign of it.

if you need detailed accurate info-use the factory chassis service manual-not an assembly manual

The assembly manual shows GM engineering diagrams. That's pretty detailed and accurate information IMO.
