wanted blackie 14X7 1970 wheels

I posted a while back and thought I had a set but they were 14X6. I need any combination of olds 14x7 steel stock wheels for the poverty caps from one to five. Please help because this is important to my restoration of my 442

They're tough to find as the Chebby guys are also on the lookout for them. Not quite original, but the late 1970's Delta 88 used a 15X7 plain steel wheel that your dog dish hubcaps will fit. Those may be much easier to come up with if you decide you could live with the 15" wheels. John

If you have time do a search on them, I know there's been some discussions in past threads. I thought the code near the valve stem was "I F" but could be wrong. I know prices are down due to the economy so that may help you, but I've seen these go for $100-150 each....

I have a matched set of 4 xt wheels from a 71 442 I'd take 600 for or trade on 66 442 parts I might want.

They used 2 different codes for the 14x7 steelies. XT and IF
I would just make sure all of them have the same code.

I am very appreciative of this group. I have already had two members go out of their way to help me with my quest for wheels. So far I have bought a set of 14x6 to find they are four bump wheels, and a member even bough a set of wheels for me only to find out they were 14x6 too. I have been unable to reach Henry listed above with a set of four xt wheels for $600 which will be sold if I was able to reach him. Keep helping guys, my car was ordered wheel delete so I want it correct to the order form. Thanks to all that have gone out of their way.
