Unhappy Wanted: '77 Cutlass non-tilt/telescoping steering column

Someone busted mine all up trying to steal my car...any help would be most appreciated, thanks. It's a column shift.

'77 Cutlass steering column

I may be able to help you. Does yours have the dimmer switch on the column? Thanks, Bob.

77 steering column

No, the dimmer is on the floor; the turn signal lever is for turn signals with cruise control on it, but wired separately. I'm thinking it may be a good time to switch to a tilt/telescoping column, so either would work. After having so many '73 to '75 Cutlasses, I just found that some 77s crossed over to those with the column mounted dimmer. Thanks, Duncan.

I don't believe that Olds offered a telescoping steering wheel in the mid-'70s Cutlasses; however, I think that I have a tilt, if you want to go that way.

At this point I'll take anything that will fit. I had a '66 Toronado that could lock the wheel anywhere you wanted. Let me know what you need for it...I guess you're in Florida?

I actually have a '67 Toro tilt/travel; however, it won't fit in your cutlass. I am in Central Florida. I am traveling to my warehouse tomorrow and I will check to be sure that I have what you need. I'll contact you while I'm down there. Email me your phone number and we can discuss price and shipping: drolds1@bellsouth.net. Thanks, Bob.
