Hello to all,

I have a 1971 Cutlass Supreme convertible with a non matching numbers 350 rocket. Since my engine is non matching, I have really been considering adding more displacement by way of a 455 engine. I live in the southeastern Michigan area. If anyone has a 455 block or complete engine, I would be interested.

I just went and looked at a 1968 Delmont 88 convertible today. It has a 455 2 barrel with C heads. I have the correct four barrel intake and several quadrajets to choose from. I am in Indianapolis. I don't have the car yet but if I can generate enough interest I'm going to buy it.

 

Nice, that would sound like a great start for me. Plus Indy is just right down the road. That would give me some increased horsepower and torque. If the engines a good engine I would be interested. How much do u think u could let it go for?

 

It looks like the car was kept in the garage as the interior is pretty decent for a 48 year old car. The engine turns over by hand and I would bet it will start with a battery and some gas. Not sure on the price yet.

 

Gotcha, yeah keep me in the loop. Not really thinking of replacing the engine till summer or next fall. So I got some time but I definitely want a 455 over my 350. Nice wagon!!!
