Would anyone happen to have these Pillars for both sides?
They've been long ago discontinued by GM. The last known cost on them was super expensive too, like hundreds of dollars each. I've seen many of them melted around the bulb. They are very hard to find in good working condition. The whole pillar applique is painted gloss black on later model H bodies; that is one option for you.
They were also a favorite designers play area resulting in a bunch of variations. If you looked closely at the one on this '90 "98". You can see the thin chrome rim was omitted and the lamp shape is completely different.

@ rocketguy - You're lucky I have never seen a brand new one for my model / year car. I have always heard they were super expensive. I didn't know that the later models actually melted the housing!
I ended up doing surgery on mine and installing LED strips in them. While it doesn't look original it does look really neat, I did have to install diffusion paper on the front so you couldn't see the LED strip though. If anything it looks like the newer limousines with their LED lighting on the outside so I won't complain. I'm pretty sure in my Newbie post I shared some details about my opera lamps.
Do yours work??? I kinda like the chrome square around the older lamps. The all black appearance is very modern to me which is fine on appropriate car. Your car has a very sporty look to it while mine has the little old lady look to it lol :P
