Wanted: 1970 Night Watch Amplifier

I'm looking for a 1970 Night Watch Amplifier for my '70 98. The one in it won't maintain the lights for 1 minute. The only fix in the shop manual is to replace it. Part number 911066.

Thanks,
Steve

Yes that was what the manual said, but its probably just a capacitor that's aged out of spec, or a leaky transistor, or another component. I think I have the schematic of it, I'll check. You're better of getting yours repaired. I can look at yours if you're willing to send it out. PM me if interested. I've worked on the GM Twilight Sentinel boxes, the Night Watch used the same box, just less components.

I think I'll try cleaning the connectors and replacing the switch. I'm pretty sure it's the original, it looks like it anyway. With only 68,000 miles I doubt it would've been changed already. The connector wire is pretty brittle but I can't find a single blade connector with two out put wires anywhere. Sending the amplifier to you for adjustment would be fine but I want to try these other two options first before I pull it out of the car.
