I need help finding where I can find an original spindle for my front drum brakes! My tire fell off while I was driving. The spindle and the hub need to be replaced, but I can't seem to find the original part for the spindle. Please help this car is my love and daily driver.

 

Several members here will have extras of these. What part of the country/world are you in? I'll move this to the parts wanted section and if you would post your location or nearest large city, state/province then see if someone close to you has the parts. That will save you on shipping costs.

Also, was it the drivers side or pass side that you need?

Not a problem, welcome to the site! A lot of guys replaced their drums with front disc brakes so finding drum brake spindles should be easy. I've got some but due to my work schedule I wouldn't be able to get to them until next weekend. I believe you'll have something offered up within 24 hours.

What started it all was about 3 months ago my bearings got so hot from them being worn that they basically became part of the spindle. So I spent a few hours trying to remove the old bearings and ending up making the spindle look alot different, but it worked when i put new bearings on. The other day I let a guy I knew take a look at it and he for got to pack the bearings. Now the hub slide right off over the bearings and spindle nut and key.
