I want a set of fender skirts for my 54 98 sedan with chrome strips

 

Welcome to the site William! I moved your thread to the parts wanted forum. I've got a 1955 Olds 98 4 door parts car with skirts, but I don't think they interchange with 1954. One of the guru's will have to chime in.

William, here's the 1955 Olds 98 skirt. I'm pretty sure I measured these for someone who had a 1954 Olds 88 and the wheel opening was a different size. Not sure if that was a difference between the 88 & 98 or the years.

 

John, those look like the skirts for a 1955 Super 88. The 98 is longer and flat across the bottom and I believe they are longer.

 

Well... could they be aftermarket? They're on the 1955 Olds 98 4 door parts car I got a while back.

 

My apologies John. I just got my Standard Catalog of Oldsmobile out and that is what it shows for a 1955 98 4 door. They would probably fit on a 54 98 but would look different. The skirts for the 88 for 54 and 55 would interchange but the 54 was flat across the bottom and the 55 had the arched cutout in them.

 

What Glenn said. but I don't remember a chrome strips on the skirts, are we talking about the chrome strips above the skirts?.....Tedd

 

Yes, the 54 98 skirts have chrome strip on the bottom edge and they are practically flat like the 53
