W-31 parts

I have a 1970 F-85 W-31 automatic. Major project.Was drag raced so most of the original parts are long gone.I do have the matching number block and JO trans.My wish list is for a W-350 alum. intake,"6" cylinder heads, 1111975 distributor. Thanks

Sorry I can't help with the parts,good luck with your search.

Did your matching # block include the w-31 balancer?

The balancer is also long gone.I've heard how hard that is to find,so i left it off my wish list.I would like to piece it together and use it as a driver/beater next spring.

The "975" dist was also used with the 310 hp 350, so it should not be too hard to find nor expensive. Dick Miller offers a W31 style repo balancer for around $750.

Thanks to the members of this forum, I have located everything on my original list but the 1111975 Disributor.Also looking for a correct manual steering box,Blue F-85 floor mat, single groove crank and water pump pulley, nice column shift handle. Thanks

I have a manual steering gear box or two. Not sure what it's from but I will try to dig it out in the next day or two and get some pictures and numbers.

I don't believe a single groove crank pulley exists. the same part number is used for single and double groove water pump pulleys. So getting the KM and KJ pulleys is your best bet. the KJ is for non a/c, so it's a two groove regardless of other options.

The distributor is the same number as the 350/310 hp engines, that makes it easier to find.
