I need a windshield for a 72 Vista. Im not sure what years swap. But i know it is only a Vista and 4dr glass, not 2dr. I would like to find it local. Thanks

 

68-72 all GM A body 4drs, 68-69 do not have antenna provision.

Did you try a local auto glass shop? I wouldn't be surprised if you could still get a new windshield for this car. It's certainly worth a call to ask. A new piece of glass would be much preferable to something 40 years old. No scratches or pitting, and it would be the most modern safety glass available.

I checked Safelite just now, and they've got a new windshield for your car for $268.95, and that includes installation.

i have a good one you can have for free but i don't really want to ship it. the only problem with it is the antenna wire is broken off the bottom. if it is something you want maybe we can work out something. i can look again but i don't think there is any chips in it at all.

 

I didnt call safelite, but i did look it up. I just dont want to spend that much. Im a cheap *** and can just do it myself. They didnt have a price online for just the glass. That is one option.

 

That would be cool. But we are just so far away. I would end up spending so much in gas with my Suburban. Thanks anyway though.

Let me know if it anytime soon. If i dont track one down this week ill end up getting a new one. The Vista i bought to sell so i would like to have it up for sale next week. If it was for me I would just wait.
