I'm restoring a 1971 Olds 442 and am in need of a virgin 455 that I can rebuild. Does anyone have one available for sale? Please advise. Thanks .

Do you need a complete running engine, or just a bock? I have a STD block, also have some heads ,crank pistons, rods. What are you looking for?

 

 

Thanks. Looking for more of a complete , known good, running engine that I can start with. I'm concerned about mixing and matching parts or engines that have prior damage or have already been customized . I'd like to start my engine upgrade with a virgin stock donor engine .

If nothing that you can use there , let me know I still have a standard bore 455 under the bench in heated storage in Minnesota

if you need 71 G heads-I have a pair,all done for performance--also all prepped Torker and Performer alum intakes (but I am in Va)

 

I have a 455 out of a 69 Olds 98 that is disassembled but still virgin. Low compression, 2V. Intake to pan. No machining has been done but the cylinders need to be bored. One valve is broken but the heads have not been taken apart. It's yours for $100 and I'll throw in the TH400 if you'll pay for the ride from Albuquerque.
